Neville Lodge are inviting applications for Support Workers to work at our service in Doncaster designed for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Neville Lodge is a large Victorian home that has been renovated to the highest specification and has one of the highest levels of fit out in the country and we are now wanting Support Workers that fit in to our core values to ensure we deliver the highest levels of care needed for our Service Users.

Key Responsibilities of our Support Workers

  • Support the Services Users journey and progression through the service.
  • Developing person centred working relationships with individuals, utilising Autism specific approaches and evidence based methods, these interventions may utilise approaches such as the SPELL framework.
  • Actively supporting the communication style and programme prescribed for any individual.
  • Supporting the development of excellent Autism practise as well as the achievement and retention of Autism Accreditation
  • Reporting to the nurse in charge any observations/concerns regarding Service User presentation
  • Support, encourage and lead with the meaningful activity of all Service Users.
  • Maintain all aspects of mandatory and statutory training.

Experience:

  • Support Environment: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
