We are a respected provider of children’s residential care, focused on creating safe, positive environments that enable young people to thrive. Our Corby home, currently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is a small and supportive setting with one settled young person. We are dedicated to raising our standards to ‘Outstanding’ and are seeking a skilled Registered Manager to lead this journey of improvement.

Role Overview

As the Registered Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to oversee a close-knit, focused environment where individualized care is our priority. This role is ideal for an experienced manager who is motivated to elevate our home from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ by enhancing the quality of care and supporting our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a stable, positive environment for our young resident and preparing for future placements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and support a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure the home meets all Ofsted standards and complies with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to help the home progress from a ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ rating.
  • Personalized Care: Oversee and enhance the care provided to our settled young person, ensuring their individual needs are fully met.
  • Safeguarding: Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring full compliance with safeguarding requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the young person’s family, local authorities, and external partners to provide holistic support.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential care setting.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment: A genuine commitment to achieving an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating and supporting the needs of a settled young person.

What We Offer
