A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a job shared Office Administrator role to be based in Taunton town centre.
The hours of work are Job Role 1: 8:45am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.
Job Role 2: 1.00pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Basic salary of £13.50 per hour, plus benefits.
We are looking for organised and driven individuals to assist the current management team with the day to day work flow.
Successful candidates must be fully conversant with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
Must be a driver with own vehicle in order to attend and take minutes for the Team Meetings within the Residential homes.
Office Administrator Duties:
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Minute taking.
- Supporting Management
- Purchasing
- Helping to collate information for the companys Training and Quality systems.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering as necessary
- Scanning/photocopying/collate documents.
- Organise and schedule meetings, appointments within our Training/Meeting room.
- Manage office equipment, ensuring it’s properly maintained and functional.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Ensure the office environment is welcoming and professional for customers and staff.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for people who are confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills to successfully converse with people at all levels both internally and externally.
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Minimum Level 3 in Business Administration.
