Are you an experienced childcare professional looking to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a Deputy Manager for a dual-registered children’s residential service in Long Bennington, providing high-quality care and support for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

This residential service offers care for up to three young people aged 8-17, providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Requirements:

  • £29,850 – Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and experience as a Senior Support Worker
  • £32,350 – Experience as a Deputy Manager in a children’s service and Level 5 in Children & Young People’s Management or Health & Social Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the staff team to provide outstanding care
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for young people
  • Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and compliance with Ofsted regulations
  • Advocate for young people, supporting them in education, independence, and personal development

Pay: £29,850.00-£32,350.00 per year
